About
Simon Plestenjak is a Slovenian/Brazilian photographer and cinematographer.
Born in Slovenia and professionally established in São Paulo, Brazil, Simon Plestenjak has over twenty years of experience as a photographer and cinematographer. He is currently based in Europe.
Simon’s work focuses on themes such as nature, humanity, the environment, and sustainability. Over his twenty-year career as a photojournalist and documentary photographer, he has contributed to renowned publications like National Geographic Magazine and Folha de São Paulo, as well as numerous other Brazilian and international magazines.
In addition to his editorial work, Simon has been commissioned for commercial photography and filmmaking by leading brands such as Nike, Jeep, Land Rover, and Coca-Cola. He has also worked at major global events, including the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro Cup, and more.
